Francis Douglas Memorial College 1st XI Soccer Team

 

The objective of our First XI team is to continually reach the Top 32 Secondary Schools at the Secondary Schools National Tournament.

We have achieved this over the last 8 years with our best ever performance finishing 11th in 2013.

We punch well above our weight given the size of our school compared to other larger schools at the Tournament and have produced some National Level players that have gone on to play and train with the National Under 17's  squad.

 

We have two English born coaches who have Youth Level and Senior Coaching Qualifications and who have coached at a Regional Level.

We are looking for 1-2 International students to join our school and play for 2016 season. We are specifically looking for an established Striker with a strong technique and ability to score goals.
